So sorry to hear about this, Zenki was one of my favorites back in high school... My prayers go out to his family and friends in this time of loss.

First is Mr. Takahata, now is Mr. Kuroiwa. It is so sad, so many of my favorite show's creators passed away lately. My condolences to his families and friends.

Man, Zenki takes me back. Such a shock to hear he passed away. Hope he's able to rest in peace.[/i]

Whoa. I had just been thinking about the manga again recently - I went through a volume or two in Japanese at Anime Expo's manga library a number of years ago, where they had the whole thing. Zenki's first appearance, where his gigantic arm appears out of the stone he's summoned from and fills the entire page as it smashes the bad guy's whole face with his fist made quite the impression.
Rest in peace.
