2007, 2009, 2012... 2020.
Wonder if we'll finally get a license rescue for the TV series after this!

If it actually does come out in 2020 and no delays occur (crosses fingers), then it’s been a lot longer wait than I would have expected for all 4 movies to be released. This will probably be the last anime Hideaki Anno will work on in his long career and I hope that the studio can give a proper send-off.

It would make sense to release it that year to celebrate the 25th anime anniversary (10/2020).

Just try to bring it together, Anno. And make up you mind if these films are yet more deconstruction or a reconstruction that you seem to promise it be back in 2007.

Only a 12 year delay. No biggie.

I just pray Anno keeps rational and healthy during production.

It took long enough for the last Rebuild of Evangelion film's release date to be announced, but at least the wait that lasted for over six years is over.

Hopefully the last movie will redeem 3.33. Also I'm glad this movie series will finally be over, so someone can license the TV series. I need to see the TV series in its Bluray glory.

Ha!
You say that knowing full well that even when they post a trailer it will just be 1.5 minutes of a man playing a cello in a dimly lit room.
