Why do companies do this, are they really that dumb?
 "Hey, let's commemorate this milestone by doing a special version of the game that includes a bunch of free stuff that only comes in this package, and completely screw over the people that got us here by making them buy the game a second time to get it. Thanks dedicated fans!"

This is going to stay a Japan-only thing huh? Was hoping it would get this kind of re-release here with the updated translations on-disc instead of requiring a huge patch to fix the defective first run.
