$800 million? That's amazing. The compatibility it has with the Let's Go games is actually pretty good. I never was interested in Pokémon GO, but the moment I heard both Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! were going to be compatible with the app, I decided to download the app just to test it out.

I still remember when everyone kept insisting Pokemon GO was just a passing fad for casuals and it was never going to last long.

Nintendo literally has a 20 year leg up on everyone else when it comes to creating compelling mobile games. I'm not surprised they saw success when they put something out out on mobile platforms with an audience that completely dwarfs the 3DS's.
