Per twitter and the video, it’s also coming to Hidive and Funimation.

Great news, as everyone should check this out.

With Hidive and Funimation streaming this as well, it's ironic that Amazon, the platform that will be exclusively streaming it in Japan and where we all thought it would be outside of Japan just weeks ago, is basically the only platform not streaming it lol.

I'm assuming that means that Amazon's noitaminA deal must not have been for as long as outside of Japan as within. If so, and if they didn't bother to renew it, then anime must have done pretty poorly for them, even without Anime Strike in the equation. That was a pretty big deal for them at the time, so I'm a little surprised to see Amazon let it lapse. Though, I suppose the more charitable way to look at it is they decided that paying for a programming block for years upfront with no idea what it would contain wasn't a great business plan.

I'm really thinking this is the situation with Amazon right now. Mostly acquiring niche shows, as well as doing that incredibly unnecessary double paywall (I'm looking at you, Anime Strike) service for a brief period have pretty much killed their chances of being a relevant anime streaming platform in the West.
