Is this what joy feels like?
I'm glad that I can feel this again.

I absolutely loved Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Kumeta's art style. It's so wacky but so awesome. And it great to this his work animated in a high resolution then Zetsubou Sensei. I hope this new series gets a full TV run eventually.

I like the background art more than the Monogatari series, it was great art, but I like the more simple style to this.

Seeing this makes me happy. And sad. I'd already come to terms with the fact that we will never get a release of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei over here in the states.
Or that pervy OVA Kumeta also did. You know what? Forget SZS, just bring that one over.
And Nichijou. And Carnival Phantasm...

Katte ni Kaizō. Kumeta made it before SZS and ran for 26 volumes from 98 to 04. After the success of SZS, Shaft made a short 6-episode OVA of it. Highly recommend you check it out. Pretty NSFW though, so be warned.

Wow, that was gorgeous! :O
It seems like Hiroshi Kamiya basically goes hand in hand with SHAFT these days. Or maybe it's just because I've seen most of their stuff together recently.

He does a lot of work tbh, I think he just seems to like doing these OTT voices like Nozomi and Araragi. Plus if a studio likes using you you're not going to turn them down haha money is money.

Glad to see something new by him. Now I just wish we could have the entire Zetsubou-Sensei series that we were...kinda...promised...
