The first time I read the headline I wondered if it was a sequel to the Kaiju Girls short series but than I noticed that Toei Animation was involved in the production. They have done great work with GeGeGe no Kitaro so it will be interesting to see what they do with this CG project though the announcement is vague whether this will be a movie or a TV show. The Kaiju Decode title and the DNA structures on the website does give seem to indicate that it will be a more serious version of what they did with Kaiju Girls.

Given that it’s CG and a title for global audiences, I’m predicting this will be a new Netflix Original like the recent Ultraman anime.

Yeah I'm curious if this will be a movie or a series given that it's a collaboration title.
Really liked both Expelled From Paradise (and its full CG) and Gridman so I'll be curious to see what those two producers have cooking for this and who the direct staff are going to be. |
