Ouch. Some of the characters appearances weren't even slightly changed. They literally took Romance of the Three Kingdoms series portraits and put them into their games.

And this is still a normal thing with many and many Chinese mobile apps even nowadays. The problem is - without the backup cover from the company from mainland China, a chance that this gonna come fruitful is still very low despite Koei is absolutely right to do it.
