Well, that's kind of interesting. Bandai Candy Toy's output lately seemed to rely ever more on licensed properties only, with things like the nearly 15 year old Shinra Bansho chocolate wafer + card line finally coming to an end, and a bunch of little original projects never taking off.
Among those was Hagen no Zista, which was a line of smaller part swapping robots not too dissimilar to these, and admittedly I'm fairly bitter that didn't take off like this has - but, whatever, it's good to know original concepts can still catch on.

I can bet you that Animagear will get an anime adaptation within the next couple years.
