The anime remains one of my favorites, but I still favor the manga. Didn't care for the inclusion of the girl(I'm guessing to give Kazama a little more depth) in the anime. If you dig around the internet enough, there's a live-action of Ping Pong out there(with subtitles!!!)

The anime was one of my all-time favorites, but the manga somehow surpassed it. Matsumoto has such a deft hand for paneling and composition. I also loved the inclusion of the interview with his editor. The interior design with art around the credits and table of contents was also beautiful. I got a digital review copy but I want to get physicals for the holiday
