The article wasn't entirely clear on this, Natsume's Harvest Moon line of games is NOT the original Wonderful Life/Mineral Town/Animal Parade series. Natsume sort of "stole" the Harvest Moon name from XSEED. To get the proper series, you have to go find the Story of Seasons games, as that is their new name whilst being released under XSEED.
That obligatory bit of housekeeping out of the way, the trailer actually looks like Natsume finally might have a game that is worth playing here. I'm not seeing anything particularly jank or busted. As wonky and unpolished as some aspects of newer Pokemon games can get I cautiously say that this might be the first stolen Natsume version of a farming sim that looks like it's worth trying. Bravo to them. |

This looks like by far the best of the Natsume-made Harvest Moon games. Might need to keep an eye on it, have kept hoping they figure it out and start making a worthy alternative option.
