Aghhh. I know I keep saying this, but I watched the trailer thinking, "Oh, more Shiny Colors stuff. I really want to see it. Maybe I'm overreacting", only to see the animation and feel so disappointed all over again. It stinks because most stills of the show don't look horrible. They look like they come from a game and they have pretty lighting and composition and stuff. But then the characters move and it feels so jarring and I find myself blinking a ton and having to take breaks while watching from eye strain. I don't know how the industry can think lower framerate on a fully 3D show works. It helps when you're fusing it with 2D animation because it's meant to conform to the 2D framerate, but they don't have to do that here. And again, Idolmaster was doing so good with its 2D works. I was really looking forward to Million Live and Shiny Colors when they were announced...
I'm sorry for ranting about the same stuff. It's just hard being a fan of the property who sings its praises, then gets hit with something I can't just sit down and enjoy for its writing or characters and such.
