Whew, now we can go back to anime not getting nominated at the Oscars for ANN's headline next year.  Though I have a feeling Look Back is the only animated film and anime which can knock Inside Out 2 off its perch. Gotta wait for 2026 for Elio otherwise, for anime to have a real chance to win. As for Colors Within, it should have been competing next year. Now, the only anime contender for that for now is Rose of Versailles. BTW, for those not keeping track, Look Back qualifies, because they changed the running time rules 15 years ago. If Blood: The Last Vampire was allowed to compete under those rules, it also would have qualified.
