That's wonderful about Apothecary Diaries. Hard to imagine it not getting a third season at this rate.

Nippon TV putting it in their Friday Anime Night timeslot -- which gets a big boost from coming right after their popular Friday Road Show movie timeslot -- was definitely a show of confidence. It's been doing significantly better than Magilumiere, the last FAN show, too; it's even outperforming the one before, TenSura S3.

Honestly, it might even be doing better than Frieren, FAN's inaugural show, did. TAD S2's lowest rating so far has been a 3.5; two of the first three regular broadcasts of Frieren (after the big two-hour special premiere they broadcast as that week's Friday Road Show) underperformed that.
