Thank you for the review! I'll put this one on my radar for order.
As much as I admire Nobody's Boy Remi, I feel that it's continuous upsetting sadness and multiple moments of animal abuse/death keeps me at a distance. This one I can see giving a try. |

Hell yeah! Love this series! I mainly have some gripes with how spoiler[Angeletta's fate is left unanswered in the end as opposed to it being explained in the book, and how quickly Romeo and Bianca got together even though they hadn't built up any kind of romantic connection throughout the series], but those did nothing to kill my enjoyment of the series as a whole. I bought this blu-ray set the second it dropped, and if this opens the door for more WMT to be brought over here, I am absolutely chowing down!!!!

I always thought the original novel was from late 19th/early 20th century, when so many stories about orphans having the worst time of their lives were written.
Oliver Twist, The Dog of Flanders, etc. |
