Sega has really done good work with these Sonic YouTube animations. The Shadow one will be tough to beat.

It's surprisingly very good. I'm usually not into these types of action scenes. but they work well for Sonic.

I'm kind of surprised Sonic's never gone back and done another anime since Sonic X. Like, for better or for worse, I feel like Sonic's always been a more popular brand that honestly eclipses his games at this point. There are kids out there who love the Sonic movies who have not played a Sonic game and their last few animations have been real slick and almost universally praised. I mean, I guess there's that Sonic Prime show on Netflix... but like, that's not very good?
Unfortunately I feel like these days Sega just does not want to take chances anymore. I cannot see the Sega of today green-lighting the Metarex saga from Sonic X, even in censored 4Kids form.

^Sonic sadly isn't that popular in Japan as he is in the west. Could be a culture issue.
