Holy moly! This is the greatest, most unexpected news I've gotten in a long time!
I never, ever could've expected that School Days could not only receive an English dub, but that said dub would be for the original game in particular! I'm familiar with quite a bit of the cast announced here, and I think they'll all do a great job! I'm super excited to get to experience School Days and its 20-something endings in this brand new way! |

Same here, lol.. Does this mean they'll also be dubbing the 18+ scenes that will require a patch? |

School Days has only ever been released as an adult game in English, so yes, the 18+ scenes will most likely be dubbed. Also, I doubt there'll be any need for a patch, for the same reason: it's only ever been sold as 18+ in English. I expect School Days Remastered to be the same. (The all-ages version of the game, School Days LxH, was only ever sold on the Playstation 2 in Japanese back in the day.) |

The usual suspects in these sorts of casts....plus...vtubers...
This cast list honestly reads like an early 2000s fandub cast. It's hard to believe this is an official cast. |

Aren't the characters all underaged?

Mint is surprising but I don't think her character actually has any H-scenes. Nor do any of the Vtubers (unless Summer Days gets dubbed lmfao)
Brittany Lauda was in Huniepop though so she has.....experience? Lol |

I mean, I’m amazed that any visual novel is getting an English dub in the year 2026. When was the last time that happened? (Not counting OEL, of course.) |

Uh, Hundred Line? Last year? Depends on what we're classifying as visual novel but I'd say that counts |

For anyone interested, JAST shared a trailer featuring a sneak peak at some of the English voices on their Youtube channel.
I gotta say, as someone who's been a fan of this series for almost two decades, hearing these characters dubbed into English is pretty surreal, lol. It's only a small sample, so I really look forward to hearing more of the performances in the full game. There are many branching story paths and over 20 endings, so there'll be plenty of different scenarios to hear them perform in. It's been a long time since I last played through School Days HQ, so this dub will be a great way to revisit it. |

I'm actually wondering how they plan to skirt this as well. Usually when H-games involve high school characters, in the English translation they're either blatantly lying by saying they're all 18 (even the nonparticipants), lying and saying they're actually all in college (which requires a uniform apparently), or just plain not mentioning i and hoping nobody asks. Or requiring a patch on another site, in Steam's case. |
