Trigun OVA or movie

I keep hearing all these stupid rumours about a trigun OVA and a movie...im not sure if trigun mamimum is a sequel or not but since its still running in Young King Ours then is it a sequel? If it is i would love to see wut happens spoiler[after Vash walks away with Knifes] it would be awesome! A movie would be pretty cool as well anybody know anything about Maximimum? If its a sequel then they should make an OVA!

Trigun, the manga, switched publishers and became Trigun Maximum. The anime was made very early into the manga's run, (in fact the manga is still coming out) but they ran out of manga around episode 18, everything after that is original for the anime. The problem with new Trigun is it requires untangling the IP, and determining whose universe to use.

I know I would, I like to see an absolute finale to anime's, like Eva, it's more or less absolutely over, or at least very easy to figure out what happens after.

EVA's ending was not easy to figure out. It was very open ended and left me with alot of questions. As for Trigun, the anime was pretty open ended near the end. They could definitely tack on 26 more episodes if they wanted to. They would only have to create a new enemy for vash to fight against all the time. And as for the ladies.... they're always there. So it's not too hard to make more Trigun, it might require an original story, but it is still doable, nonetheless.
