I am wondering if there are any plans for U.S. releses of the folowing shows(and if so when/by which company):

1. Code Geass
2. Super robot wars (OG & Divine wars)
3. Gundam; Igloo, Stargazer, Evolve...
Any real info would be appreciated

When they get licensed over here, you'll find out when they will release the DVDs over here. ANN will be sure to let you know.

All depends on the sales in Japan at the moment. I'm thinking the Gundam Igloo, Evolve, and Stargazer series will make their way over here eventually. Gundam is, as you know, pretty popular. It would only be smart to expand the availability of the series outside of the Pacific.

Honestly though, Gundam's popularity in this continent is about zero, and MS IGLOO, Evolve, and Stargazer are pretty low-priority releases when compared to the other Gundam titles they've yet to release. We may see Turn-A Gundam or Gundam X eventually (I hope), but I doubt the random collection of vignettes or the 45-minute SEED manga tie-in OVA are going to get a nod over here at any point.

Code Geass, though, I think is only a matter of time. It's Bandai's new non-Gundam big money anime, so they'll sell it to anyone they can to profit off of it. Not to mention it's incredibly popular among fans.

I'm still holding out hope that evantually we will see all the unreleased Gundams stateside. I guess i was hoping that the Super robot animes had some kind of announcement. The U.S. has the 2 GBA OG's, so i thought there was some hope.

I'm going to invoke Dormcat's commandment #7 for anime forums: Thou shall not ask questions that no fellow fan could answer.

If we knew anything about the license status of those shows, it would be in the database. We try to avoid the whole rumor mill subjects when possible though.

I'm as excited as the next Geass fan about who's going to be doing the dub and releasing it, but we're just going to have to wait and see.
