I've been wondering does Negi have one or two sisters. I've only read vol 1 and he only mentions of one sister but who's the other girl in the beginning of the manga who's with Negi and Negi's sis, she looks like Negi and plus have the same hair color (I've seen the color pics) and are near in age. Is she just a friend or Negi's other sis.

But right toward the very beginning when the 'tall girl' starts to faint after Negi is told Japan's youth will be counting on him, I thought both Negi and the other girl shout "Sister", so isn't that his sister too but a younger one?

By the way where are the color pictures? The one I have only has black and white, but the first few looks like they could have been color at one time.

That's what I thought also that both Negi and the other girl yelled out "sister" when Negi's older sister fainted.

Oh and I saw the color pics at animeondvd.com someone posted the color pics that was release in the manga in japan. The color pics for whatever reason it was not put in the U.S. release.

Who knows, maybe they'll put color pics in the next volumes.

Rejoice in the unedited-ness of Negima...you can live without color pics. :p

Did you notice that the one who fainted was wearing clothes that a nun might wear? They call nuns "Sister," so I think it may be that. She is definitely Negi's sister, because he thinks about her as "my sister" while he is on his way to school on the train.
