Lately I've noticed that running a search for "New Posts" generates two or three pages of listings followed by one or more empty pages. Today, for instance, I'm told I have 218 new posts to read across five pages, but pages four and five of the listing are blank. Any ideas why this happens?

It's probably a bug related to spambot posts that were filtered out. I tried looking at the phpBB2 to see if it was fixable, but it's a spaghetti-code mess in there. Not really worth fixing IMHO.

Thanks, Dan.
It seems to happen when I've been away from the forums for a few days. If I check daily, I usually only have search results with links to actual posts and no empty pages.

When a new post is made, it flags it for you to view it. When a mod removes a post, it does not remove that flag from all of the users it was flagged for. Which results in the blank pages and why the problem doesn't occur when you check daily (i.e. you're checking for new posts before the mods delete enough to make an entire blank page).
