It's about damn time Geneon started releasing boxed sets that aren't "Limited Edition."

Though they do seem pretty expensive, compared to other boxed sets of similar disc counts.

If they do a box set for Champloo, then i'm there. In the meantime, I've already started buying Ikkitousen and Paranoia Agent as individuals, a long time ago. But i'll only get the box if it is cheaper than just buying the individuals. I don't like how a single disc is $24.99 (or less) but a box is $34.99...no piece of cardboard is worth $10 to me. That is why I like my Sakura Diaries box set. Only two DVD's and it was cheap as hell...

Even still, why is it that all these Geneon sets aren't too far off from the price of all the individual discs when compared to other companies? I mean, making money in a capitalist society is all fine and good, but time and time again Geneon keeps coming off as a company that doesn't give a shit about the fans. Even if we had to wait 'til next year for a cheaper release, that'd be perfectly understandable

From their high-end pricing, to their piss-poor Canadian distribution, to the fact that this is the first time I've seen them release a non-LE complete boxed since back when they were known as Pioneer -- what the Hell is wrong with these guys?!
