Luxiem has been a big deal for Nijisanji, so this is far from ideal for the company. What is interesting compared to the recent graduation of Nina Kosaka is that his videos will be set to private. Nina was going to do that, but then that changed. I got the impression there that she thought she had to do it, and then found out otherwise. Mysta is apparently setting his to private because he doesn't want to encourage ongoing parasocial behavior when he isn't around.

He really got burnout, most likely from all of the events and promotions and Nijisanji talents aren't given enough rest, especially Luxiem who might be suffering more as they are a cash cow, we also lost Nina for similar reasons.

Nijisanji just can't catch a break this year.
Even though this and Nina have mostly personal reasons, it's hard to imagine that the companies many mistakes didn't have some influence on it, and together with it's terrible behavior towards their former Indonesian branch it paints a bad picture |

Never watched Nijisanji in my life, but yeah, I keep hearing how they graduate non stop. What is up with that?

I didn't watch Mysta, but it does suck sometimes when talents have to graduate. Nina's came out of nowhere for me and I was sad to see her go, just like when Sana graduated from Hololive roughly a year ago.
It's just crazy that Niji has had two recent graduations while Hololive just dropped a teaser for EN Gen 3 |

I think some of it can be chalked up to the company being so big that there are bound to be people leaving. More recently, though, things have been coming out that make it sound like it's grown past what they can reasonably manage, but the company's approach for years has been to keep adding talents. For Nina and Mysta, it sounds like they haven't been happy with the kind of content they've been making for some time. Nina's sounded more like she still enjoyed streaming etc., but being in the company maybe took up the time or limited her in some way from doing things she wanted. Mysta's sounds more like he is done with it entirely. He even said that it isn't so much a burn out as he just done. The Luxium group grew really fast, but I think that may have been detrimental in some ways. Certain goals he wanted to achieve happened almost immediately, so there was less to work toward, and that growth had a lot to do with interactions with an audience that clearly wore on the members. Mysta is even privating most of his content because he doesn't want that to continue after he leaves. |
