Not that I myself care all that much to have more Evangelion anime, but...
Is that really it? I mean, story concluded, and all, but it is still the freaking Evangelion, are they seriously not going to try to milk it? |

So basically they just added more details for "LAST A" alternate ending which had been already known for some time.
I hope that sometime in the future they will add more details for "LAST B" too, since I consider that alternate ending to be the best. "Shinji lying on the beach alone, holding a hand that belongs to spoiler[nobody]." |

Iirc,.it was implied that the shinji centric part of Evangelion is over., but they are open to continue with spin offs. The Yuri couple from the new creator animation project was mentioned. That project happened in 2011-2013. |

Possibly implies that in the original vision while Shinji was alone the other people were together somewhere else, but he selfishly brought Asuka back before changing his mind and trying to kill her again, but she was offering to stay with him so he wouldn't be alone.
