Trivia:
In episode 27, Monzaemon ate a red bell pepper while commencing a baking battle. This is a reference to the cooking battle show, Iron Chef, where Chairman Kaga starts the show by biting onto a yellow bell pepper. The Kitchen Coliseum was also a reference to Iron Chef's Kitchen Stadium
