TV Anime Season 2 Premieres July 2026

– Today, the anime You and I Are Polar Opposites has revealed a special surprise for fans. The popular in-universe character Yeti will star in his own feature film, “THE WITCH AND THE YETI," scheduled for a nationwide "release" starting Wednesday, April 1st.

The April Fools' Project: “THE WITCH AND THE YETI"
In Episode 2 of the TV anime, Suzuki and Tani went on a movie date to see a film called “THE WITCH AND THE YETI." To celebrate April Fools' Day, a “Movie Trailer" for this fictional movie has been released. The story follows a kind-hearted Yeti boy and a lonely Witch from the North who forge an unlikely bond in a tale of miracles. While the film is a prank, fans can view the trailer on the official English website until 6:00 PM JST on April 2nd. In this fictional movie trailer, the first 1 million “advance ticket buyers" were promised a Yeti photo stand-in cutout as a “special offer"—another playful nod to the anime's second episode.

About “You and I Are Polar Opposites"
You and I Are Polar Opposites is a huge hit manga series by Kōcha Agasawa that has sold over 1.8 million copies (including digital) and received many awards. The series is being produced by Lapintrack (Shōshimin Series, Undead Murder Farce), with Takayoshi Nagatomo (Performing Director of Lonely Castle in the Mirror, Episode director of SHOSHIMIN: How to become Ordinary) directing, the series composition is written by Teruko Utsumi (Series Composition of Sarazanmai, Ryman's Club).

The voice cast features Sayumi Suzushiro (Ijichi Nijika from BOCCHI THE ROCK!, Ayako Mochizuki from The Elusive Samurai) as the energetic Suzuki, and Shōgo Sakata (Aki Hayakawa of Chainsaw Man, Zenos of The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows) as the stoic Tani.

You and I Are Polar Opposites Season 2 will begin broadcasting and streaming in July 2026. Season 1 is now streaming globally in partnership with Animax Broadcasting Korea(ANIPLUS), Bilibili, Crunchyroll, and Medialink. INTRODUCTION:
A school life Rom Com that revolves around Suzuki, an energetic girl who can't help but follow the crowd, and Tani, a quiet boy who can easily speak his mind. The original manga by Kōcha Agasawa was serialized on Jump+ until 2024, and it received many awards. The English version of the manga is available online on MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA and published in print and digital by Viz Media. Lapintrack is the anime studio that will adapt this series into anime.
