Chronology:
(1968-07-20) Debut single "Koi no Kisetsu" released, staying at No. 1 on Oricon's Weekly Singles chart for a total of 17 weeks and selling over 2.7 million copies.
(1972-02) Lead vocalist Yōko Kon left the band for a solo career.
(1972-03) Band renamed to The New Killers with new vocalists Miyako Kobayashi and Saeko Eguchi (a.k.a. The Lovelies).
(1974-03) The New Killers disbanded.
(2008-07-30) Original members reunited for their 40th anniversary.
