posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Action game currently discounted to US$5

The Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance game was released for Mac computers via Steam and the Mac App Store on Thursday. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console game is the first in the Metal Gear franchise made available for Mac computers. TransGaming Inc. ported the game in collaboration with Konami.

Kojima Productions (the company overseen by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima) is responsible for the scenario and setting supervision of the game, while Platinum Games (Bayonetta) handled its development. The action game features the lead character Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

The game is currently discounted by US$5 until September 30, when the price will raise to US$29.99.

Konami announced at Gamescom 2014 that both Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain will be released for PC via Steam. Ground Zeroes will be released first, but series creator Hideo Kojima stated that exact release dates cannot be announced yet.
