Attack on Titan Tops Da Vinci Magazine's Ranking for 2nd Year

The January issue of Kadokawa Media Factory's book and manga news magazine Da Vinci unveiled its 15th annual "Book of the Year" list on Saturday. The rankings are not based solely on sales. Instead, a group of 4,589 voters including professional book reviewers, bookstore employees, and Da Vinci readers selected this year's lists.
The magazine's comic ranking of 50 titles are:
- Attack on Titan (Volumes 1-14) - Hajime Isayama
- One Piece (Volumes 1-75) - Eiichiro Oda

This is the second year that Attack on Titan topped the list. The rest of the top five last year were Silver Spoon, One Piece, March comes in like a lion, and Chihayafuru.
2012's list separated manga between male and female-oriented series. Silver Spoon, One Piece, and March Comes in like a Lion ranked on the male list with Space Brothers and Detective Conan. Chihayafuru was #1 on the female list with Kimi ni Todoke, Natsume's Book of Friends, Ōoku: The Inner Chambers and Ore Monogatari!!.
