Japan Pavilion Hosts Anime Voiceover Event at Kolkata International Book Fair 2023

The official Facebook page of the Consulate General of Japan in Kolkata announced on Thursday that it will host an anime voiceover event at the 46th Kolkata International Book Fair. The event will take place on February 10 and February 12 from 3:00 p.m. IST to 5:00 p.m. IST at the Japan Pavilion stall (Stall no. F14).

Participants can register online or at the venue on the day of the event. The staff of the Japan Pavilion stall published guidelines for participating in the event. Participants can choose from four scenes, two of which are from Kimi no Na wa. (your name.), one from Tenki no Ko (Weathering With You), and one from Attack on Titan.

Japan Pavilion will host different events each day of the fair including games, a doll exhibition, a martial arts demonstration, a lecture on Japanese youth culture, and several other activities.

The Kolkata International Book Fair 2023 is taking place from January 31 through February 13 at Central Park Mela Complex, Karunamoyee.

The 45th Kolkata International Book Fair took place from February 28, 2022 to March 13, 2022. Japan Pavilion hosted a "Meet Doraemon" event, karaoke, and a cosplay meet at the 2022 event.
