Crunchyroll Becomes Associate Team Sponsor to Proteas Men's Cricket Series in India

Cricket South Africa announced on Friday that Crunchyroll is now an Associate Team Sponsor to the Proteas Men's series in India that is taking place from November 14 through December 19. Crunchyroll will display its logo on the Proteas Men's team jerseys across Test, One Day International, and Twenty20 (T20) formats.
Senior vice president of growth and planning at Crunchyroll Kartik Gandhi stated regarding the partnership:

This partnership strengthens our ongoing focus on bringing together the worlds of sports and anime — combining the spirit of anime with cricket across two dynamic markets with growing anime fandoms: India and South Africa.
Crunchyroll updated its logo, branding, font, and glyphs in July 2024.
Crunchyroll announced its first slate of Hindi and Indian English dubs in November 2022 as it introduced subscription tiers for Indian audiences.
It established its second office in India in March 2024.
The company began streaming several of its anime titles in India on March 1, 2022. Funimation and Crunchyroll announced on the same day that Funimation and Wakanim's anime library and simulcast content had moved to Crunchyroll. The company appointed Rahul Purini as CEO in April 2022 after several years as COO of Funimation. Amazon Prime Video added Crunchyroll as an add-on subscription in June 2024.
