Used a 40% off coupon at Borders to get Cardcaptor Sakura omnibus one. Paid about the same price as Amazon. Trying to help out the dying B&M (lol). Color pages FTW~!

Just placed a largish order with TRSI to take advantage of their Yen Press sale. Nice thing about this is that some of the items I ordered won't be available until the end of April 2011, which means the charge won't show up on my card for many, many months. This truly is an "order'n'forgetaboutit" situation. Anyway, I'm getting:

With the anticipation of a handful of figure/doll preorders coming due in the next few months (not to mention a lot of manga I want coming out in January) I've been quite good about avoid the impulse purchases... so far. This week all I got was my preorder of June's re-release of Finder: Target in the Finder v02. This is very exciting because although I have the old BeBeautiful version this means we're just that much closer to the release of v03+ which I do not have and that makes me quite happy. I also love the inclusion of the color insert pages in the June re-releases. *cheers*
Also, in non-anime land, while waiting for Sherlock to air on Masterpiece Theatre I caught a great documentary about Native Americans in film (Independent Lens - Reel Injun) which led me to buy Smoke Signals-- and it was good. |

For now, they're like 12 Kingdoms: I order the hardcovers ASAP, and then just continue to let them accumulate without ever touching them. |
