Just wonder what anime are you collecting right now. Please do not discuss series that are bootleg and/or Fansub and or not licened.

I just complete RahXephon 1-7 with along with the Movie + Box. One of my all time favorite and might be one of the best anime. I like it better than Eva.

The only anime I'm collecting right now is Wolf's Rain. So far only got the first 2 dvd. I really like the animation and the flow of it. The Dub is excellent and fit the character very well. I would have more anime but all my money is spent on manga instead.

The only other anime I really want to collect along with the box is Samurai Champloo. But that isn't released until next year, so hopefully I'll be well deep into wolf's rain by then.

I plan on working on Gundam Seed and Neon Genesis Evangelion Platiunum Edition.

I happen to be a pretty avid Evangelion fan so that is a no-brainer. I heard that the remaster of the aniamtion looks great so I would like to see it myself. I am also a Gundam fan and Seed looks really good; since Toonami will probably not rerun Gundam Seed(the first season is ending soon I believe, I can't wait for Astray), it might be a good idea for me to buy the series.

I am also considering the purchase of RahXehpon now that the new art box w/movie is out; well, that and Chrno Crusade.

Currently, I've commited my self to collect all of Dokkoida, for the main reason that it really just amuses me. It's a fun little series, and I've been enjoying it well recently.

I am planning to start collecting Shingetsutan Tsukihime the moment it releases. I've gotten an intrest in Type-Moon's works, and I plan on getting some good offical exposure from these.

I was collecting Last Exile, but considering I'm 5 DVD's behind, I'll wait until an unlikely complete set release. Tis a good series though, only judging from the first DVD.

R.O.D is a possibility for me as well, mainly from recommendations, and there isn't much for me to lose.

Blah. =P

If you do plan on getting Rahxephon or Full Metal Panic R1 DVD, u should get it on ebay (many people are selling those two series) where it's extremely cheap. [b]The nonbootleg kind/b]. I got 6 brand new sealed ADV DVD for about 40 buck buying them seperately (30 dollar price sticker still intact on each dvd). Unfornately, all the other R1 anime on ebay are expensive still.
If more dvd sold around 7 or 8 buck, I'll definitely be getting more series.

I don't really "collect" series; I usually just wait for the box set to come out or just buy the entire set after the last disc is released. For me it's either all or nothing. The only series I'm actually collecting is Maison Ikkoku on DVD because if I waited until they finished it would be long wait indeed!

Right now I am in the middle of collecting SaiKano I find it enjoyable to watch and well done. I am still collecting it because the final volume does not come out until 11/9
I am also collecting wolf rain. After seeing the first couple of shows on AS. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to buy the DVDs to rewatch the show.
I am also waiting for Full Metal Fumoffu? I enjoyed Full Metal Panic! So much I want to, see how they have done with the sequel. (I have not seen it yet because I don't use fansub)

Collecting Bebop, Trigun, Azumanga Daioh, and going to start on NGE Platinum after that.

Wow. I really need a job.

For now, I'm collecting Geneon's Signature series of Gatekeepers. For a really corny and likable show for at least $17.00 per volume in Best Buy (or was it Media Play Rolling Eyes ).

Very lucky! I tend to buy mine at almost retail price; I only buy them at like Best Buy and stuff. Yeah, I only get Region 1 DVDs; I don't do bootlegs^_^

RahXephon at retail price is like $40 for the box and then $25 for each of the 6 remaining DVDs...so that's like 200$; sounds about right. I hope I can save some money though-_-

Hmm... I''m collecting Last Exile. I have the first four discs in the art box. (#1988). I need volumes 3, 4, and 6 and I'll have Bebop complete. I need volumes, 3, 4, and 8 and I'll have Trigun complete. After I finish those, I'll pick up Wolf's Rain and TEXHNOLYZE. I really liked those two series so....

Deepdiscountdvd.com still has the Rah Movie + Box for about 27 shipped? And u can still find Rahxephon R1 DVD for around 7-9 buck each.

How is Last Exile? I was kinda leaning towards getting this or Witch Hunter Robin.

Dude, darkhunter's right. I got the entire RahXephon series (R1) from eBay for like, $70, and it's even cheaper now (darn it... Mad).

I believe Deep Discount DVD also has the Movie w/ artbox for $26.99 (free shipping of course Wink).

Heck, I'll even give you the links:

The series
The Movie w/ artbox

As for myself, I'm currently collecting various anime for which I only have Vol.1 and the box right now. Those are:

.hack//DUSK
Azumanga Daioh
Chobits
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Gungrave
Haibane Renmei
Last EXILE
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum
Onegai Teacher
Samurai Deeper KYO
Tenchi Muyo! GXP
Witch Hunter Robin
Wolf's Rain

And now that ADV is selling artboxes that are "stand alone," so to speak, I'm thinking of getting Full Metal Panic! since I saw a great deal for the first 6 volumes on eBay.

Of course, Deep Discount DVD also has that 20% off deal coming up in November or December, so you can be sure I'll take advantage of that as well Mr. Green.

I'll probably get all of Haibane first, and then move on to Last EXILE. I'm kind of limited in my choices since I don't work and only get an allowance, but I like to think I'm good at planning my purchases Razz.

Hmm....I think you should get Last Exile; that is one pretty series^_^ Witch Hunter Robin will return to Adult Swim, right? You can watch it there^_^ Besdies, Anime Unleashed has odd air times and has long intervals before reairing a series; I think buying Last Exile is more practical^_^

I, too, am collecting Last Exile. I've got discs 1-5 now, and am eagerly awaiting the next one. I really enjoy the retro/futuristic look of the series, as well as the mecha designs.

NGE Platinum was anounced, I kid you not, the day after I bought the NGE Perfect Collection. The show has proven to be so good, however, that once the Platinum version is available as a complete set I'll probably buy it.

I may try and pick up Kino's Journey soon, depending on the state of my wallet.
