i'm confused, is there an actual agenda here? they were talking about opium all through last night's episode, but they censored it in every other one, i don't get it.

So they said "opium" on the second run in the episodes where they said "opium" in the first run, even after changing it to "poppies" in some episodes later in the first season? That is messed up.

Looks like Kyle Pope has even MORE work ahead of him.

Why? They left the edits the same as before. Which is suprising since they said "opium" in the Megumi/Villan with chaingun arc and "poppies" in the pirates arc. You'd think that CN would change opium in the Megumi/Villan with chaingun arc after the edits to the priates arc, but they actually kept the opium referances in there even on the second run.

I thought they said opium in the first run, but later on in the run they changed in to poppies. I didn't notice any difference durning the first time they ran it.

The reason is simple. In the Konryu arc, it's crucial for the story. So they kept it in. You don't loss much from the Pirate arc. If they we're smuggling Pokemon dolls, it wouldn't really effect the story.

and its pretty much the same damn thing just opium is already resin ready to be futher refined or smoked, vs poppys witch one would need to cut to let the resin out.
