And?

I like it.

And I hear it's quite realistic.

Since I myself had been attending an all-boy high school, it's very interesting to take a peek into the secret realms of all-girl high schools, for I know that my female friends would never tell me the truth, and judging from the similarities of Taiwanese and Japanese high schools (many Taiwanese high schools, including mine, were established by Japanese during occupation (1895-1945) and have lots of Japanese alumni who attend anniversaries every year) I'd say High School Girls is more or less a nice, although may not be fully accurate, source of information.

Towa Oshima, like Mizuki Kawashita of Ichigo 100% and Fumiya Sato of Kintaichi / TGQ, are those female manga-ka who don't have the stereotypical shoujo style. Their art style (and fan service) are clearly male-oriented. Before High School Girls, I've only read her 18+ titles. Those were well drawn and well written, with romance, comedy, some drama, and not a bit of disgusting stuff (e.g. tentacles, S&M, etc.). Highly recommended.

By the way, Eriko, please don't submit additional picture(s) to titles already having a picture in their respective entries, unless you are very confident that the new picture you are submitting has a much better quality than the original. Thank you.

Well, according to some of my friends who I'm quite close to, High School Girls has realistic elements, particularly in terms of the topics of conversation that the girls share.

NO. There are six volumes of tankoubon right now, but the serialization is still ongoing, and the story didn't end at the end of volume six either.
