Battle Angel Alita

I have only seen two episodes of Battle Angel on the Action Channel. I was wondering if they ever made anymore episodes of Battle Angel or is it like Ninja Resurrection.

Yep, it's a two episode OVA. At least it was a good OVA. If you wanna go further into Battle Angel Alita then you can always pick up the manga.

If you liked the anime then I highly recommend the manga, which features some of the best and most detailed artistry ever put into a manga series released in the States along with some great storytelling. Yukito Kushiro, the creator, is also incredibly well-versed in obscure real-world martial arts styles and incredibly inventive at extrapolating future styles. It's also fantastically graphically violent, much moreso than what you see in the anime. (It is the title generally credited with starting the '90s trend of ultraviolent manga.)

This is the right time to get into it, too, because the original series is in the process of being rereleased in traditional manga format. (It war originally released in oversized volumes flipped to the American style.) Most any place which carries a good selection of manga should have it. A follow-up series, called Battle Angel Alita: The Last Order, is still in its original release both here and in Japan.

The anime, BTW, is a retelling of story elements from the first two volumes of the manga. In some places it follows the manga panel-for-panel.

Then of course there's always James Cameron's movie version, if/when he ever actually gets it made. . . (Sounds like it is going to happen, but I wouldn't hold your breath about how soon that might be since he wants to use it as a platform for potentially revolutionary new filming techniques.)

Anime Encyclopedia?

But if you want more Battle Angel, there's only the manga.
