LOL, I actually didn't get the joke until the song was in full gear, it's been a while since I've been rick-rolled, plus I guess it's not the sort of thing I'd expect ANN to take part in unless it was April Fool's. All the same, I thought it was pretty funny, and I love TRSI, so a thumbs up from me. Very Happy

Not even a Japan release of this yet. Rumor has it when I talk to licensor that the author simply doesn't respond when license deals are presented. Hopefully someday we'll see a re-release here.

Truly sorry if we upset anyone. We were simply trying to have some holiday fun and make a silly video.

They should've put something SM related as the first frame, so the preview wouldn't spoil it (like on their website.) Then again, can we report the article for auto-playing a video?

*checks task manager* ... and the worst part is this tab, even with a "legit" autoplaying video embeded, still devoured less memory than the usual ANN sidebar ad.

I feel like I want to cry. I know it was supposed to be a joke and in good fun but still. SM was what introduced me to anime and holds a deep place in my heart. I've been hoping for a while it would come back but I've been recently loseing hope in that wish. Then I saw this and I unfortunately got my hopes up again. Props to those who are taking it well.

Except Hellsing Abridged is part of the .001% of abridged series that is actually GOOD. Some of the VA's on there could become legit ones with a little practice and the jokes are actually funny more often than not (nothing'll ever beat Yu-Gi-Oh abridged though)

Have him let go on ANN reporting anime news as they're an anime news site?

There are plenty of things really worth reporting, such as that Q&A which CR actually reported on. This is what ANN should have reported on quite a while ago.
