Are they overtly admitting it sucks and/or is repulsive? Not sure what else they could be pertaining to. The anime made me want to vomit after watching it.

If it is a remake, it better be full-length or at least able to air uncut. I'm surprised DEEN hasn't looked into having WOWOW air it.

I knew something sounded screwy there: the Japanese would be better translated in this context more like: "Goes even deeper!" where the deeper is like "deeper into the horrors".

Maybe the short lived mini show did well, so they now have a proper budget. Would be nice to see more animation rather than a few drawings connected with scenes of animation. Though I don't think Guro is very popular outside of Japan so I can't see it getting a western release.
