That sounds like an Austrian or German word for "[something] reich" or the bird.

Osterreich...that's the German word for Austria right? It literally means "eastern kingdom" according to Wikipedia.

No, Ostreich means eastern kingdom but Österreich (with the ö and and 'er') means the country Austria, in german.

Given the frequency that German has with anime/manga (like Latin, Greek, and English), I guess it's appropriate this band has such a name.
