It's around its 125th episode, I believe. Rumiko Takahashi has about 33 volumes of the manga release, and Inuyasha is finally starting to enter its closing stages.

You might be thinking of Ranma... 141 episodes, and various OAVs and movies.

The enclopedia says that there are 138 episodes so im gonna say 138. The encyclopedia is usually right. I think you spell his name like this: Sesshomaru.

The manga is still ahead of the the japanese dubbing so its safe to say there's at least if not more than 150-160+ espisodes. And thats if only they go straight from the manga then we got all the filler espisodes that will probably appear during this. Also if it the series is this long then there should be a new opening and ending music theme coming up.

They aren't at the 140th ep yet, and they do have a new 5th opening called One Day, One Dream, and they also have a new 7th ending called Come.
