I'm still hoping that Sentai will license Umaru-chan as well. I really want Jessica Calvello to play the character in the English dub.
But while I'm here, I'll guess Monica Rial will play the lamia girl. And Brittney Karbowski is probably the harpy. |

i was hoping funimation would pick this up, sentai are 50/50 when it comes to release decent dubs (this would most likely get a dub)

well, at the very least, it will be released with a subtitle track. We wont know if it will have a dub until they solicit it for release |

To think no one would have thought that one of the first anime to get snatched up is a harem series about monster girls. Quite surprising at how popular the series became, even rivaling series like Naruto and Attack on Titan on the best seller lists in the US.

I just want CR to stream that one in the first place, then we can talk licensing. Anyway, the good reviews of this show, as well as the manga's success over here, make me want to give this a try. I'm usually a bit wary of shows that are fanservice-heavy, but this sounds like it could be pretty fun to watch. (And I knew Sentai would get this the minute that Funi didn't; with the way the manga sells, there was no way it wouldn't get licensed really quickly.) |

And even then, they might decide to come back and re-release the show with a dub a year or two later if the show does well enough for them. I figured Sentai would get this pretty soon when I kept seeing comments from people that were disappointed Funi didn't license it. |

It was fairly certain before AX, but it's pretty much a guarantee now, on both counts: it being a Sentai title & it being on CR. |
