Wow, they aren't releasing it as part of their weekly anthology? Looks like I will be waiting a long time to read this series...

Yes, but VIZ often has monthly series like Seraph of the End and Blue Exorcist published in the version of weekly Shonen Jump.

Probably gonna buy volume by volume instead of single chapters. I know its too early and all but, I hope Production I.G. and Tetsuro Araki do the anime to this. But eh its too early for that so lets just celebrate the insanity we are about to witness!

Sounds sort of similar to spoiler[ the manga that they got turned into an anime in Bakuman. ] "Reversi" I believe it was called.

Don't really understand the decision to release it separately from their anthology but I guess they think Ohba & Obata will be a big enough draw. But personally if I'm going to buy an individual series I'll buy the physical volumes rather than a digital chapter.
