Congratulations to The Red Turtle, and also Zootopia for winning 44th Annie Awards.

Zootopia getting writing and best animated feature? All I can do is shake my head. The movie does not deserve it IMO. Still, congratulating Red Turtle for getting the Independent award and Mamoru Oshii for the career achievement award, it was well deserved in this case.

I wonder if Ghibli will ever make another movie (by themselves) again. I've watched them all and now I'm sad that I'll never see a new Ghibli movie ever again.

Pardon me but haven't you heard that Hayao Miyazaki is making a new film now?

(Or at least announced that he has started work on one).

Dreamworks and Netflix's Voltron Legendary Defender animated series was nominated in the Best Animated Television/Broadcast Production For Children category for its episode "Return of the Gladiator." The award went to Adventure Time.

That is just sad. What a wasted award.

It was to be expected that this turtle would win. This study produces good productions.
