I mean, this just looks like Fairy Tail 2.0 to me...

I was thinking it sounds like a variation of Piers Anthony's Xanth stories. In a land where everyone can do magic the hero doesn't have any ability. He then finds out that his "magic" is to be immune from magic.
P.S. I didn't use the spoiler tag because the series is well over 20 years old.

The only thing ‘unique’ about Black Clover is how poorly it implements basic story ideas that hundreds of shonen manga have done successfully.

You can't tell under his default clothing, but he's pretty jacked. One of the only refreshing things about this series (since most shonen protagonists these days are slim).
