Do any if any of the offered combinations come with a box for the set of DVDs? I was thinking about ordering the 1st three from rightstuf but none of them seem to be listed with a box. Does anyone know if one is planned?

If your talking about an artbox, then I don't think they are offering one yet. |

The last time I went to suncoast they were just putting up a Disk 1 with artbox edition on the shelves. So it is out. |

Are you sure that wasn't just the one with the Ryuk figure? I haven't seen a box on any websites.
In any case, if there isn't a box yet there likely will be later on. |

You sure it just wasn't the V.1 box with spread wings Ryuk figure Deluxe Edition. The way that one is packaged to protect the figure, it certainly could look like an artbox, but it's just the box to hold the figure. If what you saw really was an artbox then it might be a Suncoast exclusive as I have not been able to find an artbox offering anywhere online. The only editions I can find are vol.1 standard, vol. 1 with calendar included, vol.1 with manga vol.1 included, and vol.1 with Ryuk figure included. If you do know of an online outlet that is selling an artbox edition, could you please tell us or link it. I would be interested in that actually. |

It might've been the figure, but I could swear I saw one that was just the box and the DVD. I was helping one of the guys put up the new stock since it gave me a chance to look over what they had since I wanted to buy something (that's how it is, I just say I want to buy anime, walk in and figure out what from there.) I'd say check your suncoast and/or best buy to be sure. Online is good and well but sometimes you never know what you can find at a brick and mortar store. Like how Best Buy has the cheaper special edition metal-tin hellsing OVAs, or Suncoast rarely has buy one get one free specials on certain anime. |

Viz? I thought it was ADV for some reason. In that case, I can only assume you're right as I don't own a single Viz DVD.

I'm really dreading buying every single dvd... and then finding that the box set comes with additional extras
