The art style and poses remind me a lot of the Miraculous Ladybug series.

Kinda sad how it's like a trend, right?

This new Mega Man is like 10 years too late to hop on the 'kid goes to school and fights crime' bandwagon from the 00s. New Thundercats is Teen Titans Go, basically. New She-Ra looks like a dude New TMNT looks... I don't even know where to begin with that one. I suddenly regret bashing Voltron so much. At least its art wasn't offensively bad like all the others and they seemed to put some amount of effort into it. Although I suppose remakes in general are pretty creatively bankrupt.

That screenshot looks rather plain though it doesn't surprise me that they decided to give him a secret identity and have him go to school. It will be interesting to see what people think of the trailer that will be shown tomorrow. Man of Action generally does well with action shows but I do wonder how well the action scenes will look now that they are using CGI animation.

This one couldn't be any worse than the 90's Megaman series.

That was a promotional pitch video made in 2016. Actual stuff from the show will debut at SDCC this weekend.

With that crappy art-style that looks nothing like the games? No thanks. They should have had Xebec do a Mega Man anime instead and let Yuji Ishihara design the characters.

I'll stick with Mega Man 11 (when it comes out).

This is worse than Mighty No. 9. I'm shocked that CG this bad still exists in 2018 for televised cartoons in the West.

It's almost that time. A lot of these new shows look terrible. But I guess they're "NOT FOR ME!"

But maybe the Mega Man will appeal to some children in the way the new TMNT has done. But we'll see.

It honestly would've been far better to adapt the Archie Mega Man series instead but due to Archie losing the license, that's now a pipe dream.

The series is aimed at children 5 to 11 years old, "as well as their parents who grew up loving the videogames [sic]."

Dude I've been playing Mega Man games since 1987 like what makes you think I have children let alone have ever had The Sex?

Lol! In all seriousness this show looks bad but glad that Mega Man 11 and Smash Bros. Ultimate are coming out this year. I'll try to keep an open mind since I love Joe Kelly's work on Deadpool's comics and he's involved with this show, but it's not looking or sounding too good.
