VR? Full CG?
Everything anime is not ready for on a crowdfunding budget. This is an anime that requires Netflix/Youtube backing for it to be any good (and a staff that won't screw up the CG, because Netflix anime in particular have a bad history of terrible CG, despite having the budget to make good CG). |

The idea of crowdfunding anime occasionally appears but with the exception of funding an OVA length project it isn't realistic for making a single cour of anime. It looks like they are trying to make Kemono Friends for furries and that would be a niche market but if the Mokuri Project campaign goes well they might be able to get enough funding to make a series of 5 minute shorts.
