It'll be nice to return to the cast and their story again.

Wow. I'll REALLY be looking forward to this! I loved how crazy the original series was.

May not be the same without Yuasa at the helm, but Shingo Natsume is a good and versatile choice to replace him with. Just don't have dialogue that moves 500 miles per second like the original.

There is a Summer Time Machine Blues film already from 2005, also written by Ueda and directed by FLCL 2 & 3's Katsuyuki Motohiro.

I’m really excited! Should note that Shingo Natsume had worked on both Tatami Galaxy and Night is short, walk on girl!

Awesome possum! Just hope it gets a dub. Had a pretty hard time keeping up with the quick talk in Tatami Galaxy.

Totally didn't expect this one but I'm very happy it's coming. The story line seems really odd for what the first Tatami Galaxy was about. A lot of the absurdity was just the MC's inner thoughts but outside of that it was a pretty relatable, slice of life, college life story. Now there's literally time travel. Fingers crossed though.

Either way, I look forward to Funi streaming it and never licensing it /s

I really hope Yuasa works on this too, didn't see his name on the staff members.
