Could never really get into Pop Team Epic outside of highlight compilations, but I've always appreciated the whole concept of a revolving cast each and every episode. The dub really gave viewers some wild combinations in S1 with both newcomer and veteran actors from all over just being... incredibly silly.
Gwendolyn Lau is definitely a name I have not seen on a cast list in forever.

For real. The last new thing I heard her in (not counting One Piece) was Drifters, which aired in 2016, and her showing up in a new show back then was a pleasant surprise. If we're hearing classic actors like her in this, that's no telling who else we're gonna get. 
I liked season 1's dub, but I'd like for them to play a little more fast and loose with the script this go around; I felt the dub was a little too beholden to the sub last time. You can't tell me a show like POP TEAM EPIC wouldn't benefit from the actors sprinkling in some ad-libbing here and there.
