Awesome, hopefully everyone who bought the Battle Network collection buy this too. Star Force is so underrated.

The best part is that this means a Legends Collection has to be next!

I didn’t even remember there were 3 versions of the first game. Hence my confusion on why are there seven games in this collection.

Crazy how this was announced, do they not think this would do good outside of Japan? I know it had a more mixed reception but still...

Also weird they're including Xbox since Battle Network still never got ported there like the remaining Fighting Collections did.

Star Force Dragon was a GameStop-exclusive at the time so that's probably why.

Yeah, seeing the Xbox logo at the end of the trailer had me scratching my head. Now Xbox has all the Mega Man collections except Battle Network, which is really strange as Battle Network and Star Force are connected to each other.

Its crazy that I didn't even see this in the US livestream & only found out about this literally just now. So the JP stream dedicated a full min for this announcement while the west omitted it out & then made a separate announcement that's only a quarter long compared to JP? Confused

Yes, from what I've heard/read. Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection took its spot instead. Still kinda silly to not show the Star Force collection in the English direct when there was plenty of time to show it.

And Mega Man X: Command Mission still continues to be left out...

All the remakes needed the extra time.

Yeah, outside of making it a Switch Online exclusive with it's Gamecube version like the Game Boy games ended up, the only way I see a new port for Command Mission happening is if they feel Legends is not enough to port by themselves since that's two games (three if you want to count Tron Bonne but then look at what happened with Mega Man & Bass).

Sadly the spinoffs were left out of their respective collections, along with the handheld versions and a handful of ports of the classic series and X.

I never picked up the collections since I have the originals but if they omitted the Gameboy games that's a shame. The Gameboy MegaMan games are really fun and unique games.

I'm not sure how many people would want them but even the DOS games were unique and probably deserve to be in a collection as well although their quality was a lot worse.

I was upset when it wasn't DASH/Legends, but really, they have to at this point, yeah? They can't just... do Star Force and leave out Legends forever onward, yeah?

Well, there is also the PS2 on PS4/5 program on PlayStation if they want to go that route.
